[UPDATED] Proof Tutorial

On our amino, we have a particular requirement for proof being included within posts! This is to prevent theft, and to ensure that the adopts being sold do indeed belong to the selling them!

So, that in mind.. we’ve made an updated proof post with the methods to show proof, alongside a small Q&A regarding proof!

METHODS

Name on a layer

Showing proof via a minimum of three color layers, along with a layer that has “(name) on/at adopts amino”

Naming a layer

Similar to method one, a new method we are accepting is a minimum of three color layers shown, along with a layer that is NAMED “(name) on/at adopts amino.”

Speedpaints

Another method we accept is just a speedpaint of the creation of the adopt/artwork!

* “(name) @ adopts amino” is not required to be shown in the speedpaint.

Toggling layers

Showing a video of yourself toggling and untoggling layers on the artwork is yet another method we accept as valid proof!

Physical Art Proof

We have one specific way to show proof in regard to anything physical! That being, just show your name on the artwork itself (with or without adopts amino on it).. or to take a slip of paper and put it atop the artwork with the same thing written!

PROOF OF PURCHASE / OWNERSHIP

Things such as a conversation leading up to the purchase with a transaction shown, or a Toyhouse transfer are the easiest ways to show us proof of purchase and/or ownership!

Q: If I’m verified, do I have to show proof?

A: If you’re verified, you do not have to show proof! However, if you do choose to show proof, it MUST be following our proof guidelines & be valid proof within this Amino.

Q: What if my program doesn’t let me show layers/a speedpaint?

A: Unfortunately, without any way to show proof.. we cannot let the adopt in particular be posted.

Q: How do I show proof for mystery adopts?

A: If you are not verified, you are not able to make mystery adopts; if you’re verified and want to make mystery adopts, they don’t require proof!

Q: I’m scared someone will steal my proof if I put it in my post! Can’t I just send it to you instead?

A: We prefer for proof to remain within posts for ease of moderation, and to prevent any finger pointing for someone “not having proof.” If you have any concerns about proof being stolen, you’re more than welcome to watermark your proof and/or put it in the background of your post.

Q: How do I get verified? You keep mentioning it!

A: You can get verified Verification PSA!

We strive to ensure that theft is as minimized as much as possible within this amino, and any proof that does not show proof or proof valid to our proof guidelines will unfortunately be disabled until proof is shown/fixed!
