⌲Hey yall! The Editing team is back and with

a brand new look! We are currently looking

for new to work with us!

⌲Edit team leader will be in charge of overseeing the entire club. They must be responsible, good with time, and be able to keep everything on track as well as take action when it is needed. They must also know how to put together aesthetic blogs for the monthly recaps.

Requirements

Level 10 and above only, 150+ minutes weekly

Looking for: 0

⌲Edit team co leaders will be assisting the leaders with all the edit team responsibilities. They must be able to take charge of overseeing the entire club whenever it is needed. Like the edit team leaders, They must be responsible, good with time management, and be able to keep everything on track as well as take action when it is needed. They must also know how to put together aesthetic blogs for the monthly issue.

Requirements

Level 10 and above only, 150+ minutes weekly, must be willing to step up

Looking for: 2

⌲Editing team will be responsible for creating an edit corresponding with the prompt and posting it monthly. they will also be required to create a tutorial for the community .

Requirements

Level 8 and above only, 100 minutes weekly

Looking for: 10-15

all applicants must be 13+!

1. What inspires you to edit? Do you feel inspired often?

* The best kind of inspiration for me it’s a nature or music. Sometimes, when I am working a lot, not getting enough time to rest I can be less inspired. But after a small break or a trip - I am feeling more motivated and inspired:)

2. How would you describe your editing style?

* I would describe my style as an “old school “ lol. A lot of people are telling me that it’s something, which is a bit different from the styles, that are popular right now. However, I am trying my best to improve all the time

3. Do you have any experience with tutorial making?

* Yes. It wasn’t in a blog type but I provided small “lectures “ for people (presentation). However, if I were tasked to make a blog, I would try my best to do that as good as I can.

4. What are two things that you like and dislike about your editing style?

* Like: it’s unique, colorful

* Dislike: I don’t feel it’s the best that I can do, always trying to redo that lol, to fix something “in the last minute “

5. What would you say is your area of expertise in editing? Are you willing to teach it to others?

* I would love to teach others if needed. I like to explain stuff to people and seeing that my help was appreciated and useful

6. What is something that you look forward to learning more about?

* I would love to learn how to edit with PS.

7. Do you have any previous experience in leading a group?

* Yes, I do. I used to lead the Editing Team before and the Credit Team

8. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

*Strengths: good organization skills, communicative, creative, hardworking, good at multitasking

Weaknesses: tend to take too much on my shoulders just to make everything work properly, sometimes I can be too stressed even over tiny things or when something doesn’t meet my expectations

9. What would you do in a scenario where two are fighting or creating a disruption in the chatroom?

* I will try to talk to them and understand what’s going on. If there some misunderstandings according to tasks/work of the ET i will explain everything and will answer questions. Will try to understand the reason of the problem. In case it’s something personal i will ask those to move into pms and talk with each other privately. Will explain that’s it’s not the best place to do that in the group chatroom, cause that might make other uncomfortable.

* Once the situation gets out of hand I will report the rule breaker to the mod staff, and will discuss with the rest of the leaders the options that we can do in our Team to avoid such situations

1. What inspires you to edit? Do you feel inspired often?

other editors, for sure. as someone who is starting to edit again, i always look at my favorite editors and ask for some or advice, or i just look at their work to see what i can do to improve my own. i have a lot of editing ideas and i’d say inspiration comes everyday. everyone’s work is lovely.

2. How would you describe your editing style?

messy? it’s not exactly one of those “clean” edits where they’re neater and all. i use textures that are not as commonly used and i tend to scatter stuff sometimes. i’m trying new styles though since i’m still kind of finding my aesthetic again.

3. Do you have any experience with tutorial making?

i do not but i tend to do step-by-step instructions when i have friends who need help.

4. What are two things that you like and dislike about your editing style?

i like my choice in color most of the time. i’ve really improved doing lighter/softer themes too but i think my choice of aesthetic in each edit stands out every time i change it up. as for what i dislike… fonts. i’m not the best at them and i’m also not the best at filling the empty spaces, but i’m still improving so no biggy. placement is also not the best, and softer themes are a weak point so i am more critical in that area.

5. What would you say is your area of expertise in editing? Are you willing to teach it to others?

i wouldn’t say i have an expertise in anything just yet since i’m just getting back into the editing process again, so there’s a lot i can do and find out. but, i am always willing to help others and give advice if they ever ask for it.

6. What is something that you look forward to learning more about?

finding new tools and techniques to make editing more smooth-sailing and less time consuming, finding new styles that may be better for me as an editor, and finding the best ways to add gifs without REALLY lowering the quality!

i am only getting more active in the comm right now but i’m online almost all day. if i’m needed then it won’t be hard to reach me, to be honest. i have low minutes because i’m always lurking about in every comm i’m in and because amino’s not good at recording minutes. :pensive:

i only have profile edits right now. my blog edits are for an event so that won’t be released for a while.

1. What inspires you to edit? Do you feel inspired often?

Ever since I have ed amino, I have ired many edits done by others. I also wish to become an editor and improve in anyway I can.

2. How would you describe your editing style?

I do not have fixed style. I like to try different styles

3. Do you have any experience with tutorial making?

I unfortunately do not but I'm a fast worker

4. What are two things that you like and dislike about your editing style?

One thing I like is the colors I pick. I like to think I have a good eye for picking colors. One thing I dislike, is how 'dull' my edits are. There is always something missing but I can never fight out what

5. What would you say is your area of expertise in editing? Are you willing to teach it to others?

I would say moderate? And if I have the skill and knowledge, yes

6. What is something that you look forward to learning more about?

I want to learn about graphic design and animated edits!
