Are you pro-choice or pro-life?

These things aren’t a simple yes or no answer. It’s a lot more complicated than that. It breaks my heart to see what’s going on in Texas (assuming that’s the inspiration for this post). I think this new law is barbaric and cruel, given that their are medical reasons some women need to have abortions not to also mention rape cases. I don’t believe there should be laws against something as serious as this.

However, having said that, I couldn’t get an abortion personally, and I feel disgusted for knowing some women who openly it to having abortions because “condoms don’t feel as good”. I’ve miscarried a baby, losing that baby killed me and I despise the thought that other babies lives have been aborted for selfish reasons when I’d have given anything to have my baby.

So personally, I’m against abortion. At six weeks that baby has a heartbeat, that baby is alive and I don’t believe any living being should be killed. But I also acknowledge there are cases where women’s health declines in pregnancy and carrying that child to term could be fatal, so abortions (whether wanted or not), are needed in some instances.

Therefore I’m both against abortion, and against anti-abortions laws. Like I said, it’s not as simple as a yes or no answer - these things are way too complicated for that.

I believe it is too late to abort when the baby takes it's first oxygenated breath, because then it is not in you it is out of you
