I just finished this cross stitch as a wedding present for one of my coworkers. She has no idea I made it; I got all the info I needed about what her dress/hair/bouquet and her fiancé’s tux will look like from making small talk one closing shift.
I had to rip out and redo her hair and bouquet, because what she plans on doing changed after I’d stitched them. Here’s a photo of the project with the old hair and flowers:
My coworker put purple highlights in her hair about a month before the wedding, so I did brown and purple, but the highlights ended up washing out really quickly, so I had to change it to just brown. She’s also using faux flowers and didn’t like the cascading purple ones that came in, so she switched to lilies, so I had to change that too lol.
I hope you guys like my #StringCrafts entry, but I obviously hope my coworker likes it more :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
