Brown trout are a sought after game fish originating from Britain and Europe but have been exported elsewhere, brown trout have less aggressive tenancies than rainbow trout which is why rainbow trout are able to wipe them out in the wild. Their diet consists of worms, larvae, insects, eggs and small fish.
