Drafted by the Cubs as a 6th rounder in 2008, Josh was immediately traded to the Pirates and made his MLB debut for them in 2011, beginning a 13-year career that saw him with the team until 2018, after which he suited up for the Tigers (2019), Nationals (2020-21), Athletics (2021), White Sox (2022), and Phillies (2023). His most productive years came in Pittsburgh, including two All-Star seasons in 2014 and 2017 which helped make him one of the club's best players. He retires with a career .270/.316/.396 triple slash with 1,080 hits, 73 home runs, 388 RBIs, and a 16.4 bWAR across 1,208 games.
