Hey.

First of all, happy Mother’s Day.

My mother was everything from my teacher, to my closest friend, to my hero since the umbilical cord was around my neck before I was born, and the cesarean section was entirely her idea, which as a child I thought was how all babies are born, and it lead me to believe women were more hardcore than they really are.

…Anyway, back to the fake gore.

This is another recreation of one of my budget-friendly paper maché abominations from a few years ago, based on hellraiser.

Sculpting this with further detail made me realize how young my mental age truly is, and I’m not sure if showing this on Mother’s Day was the move of not.
