Zombie Tunes

Many of you guys out there like Zombies and I can see why there is a fascination with the undead. The dead rising from their grave seems to draw us in. They excaped death at least until you bash the head to pieces. What they got going for them is numbers they are not too scary by any means but they can just come out of nowhere when you least expect them. I wanted to explore in this blog the many different songs that are about those pesky undead flesh eaters we like to call zombies.

First off did you know that there is a zombie dance you can do next time your busting a move at the club. If you decide to try this awesome move you might want to play this song it’s by Chubby Checker’s and is called Doin’ the Zombie.

If your into cheesy frat boy music then this next song might be right down your alley. If I had to listen to music that sounded like this all the time I would become a zombie. This sign is by Jonathan Coulton and it’s called Your Brains

This next song I accidentally found when I was trying to find different zombie songs and it is more of an amped up feeling song about those undead hordes. Family Force 5 preforms this tune and it’s simply called Zombie

For all you hip-hop lovers this next tune is for you. It is by Buck 65 and it’s named Zombie Delight. The video is pretty cool and it’s a catchy tune for sure

If your into Ska music then here is sometihing to get you moving. This has a catchy feel to it. A nice flow of music coming at you. This is by Voltaire and it’s called Zombie Prostitute. If she looks dead and likes to eat brains stay away.

If anybody knows me they know I like the 80s and this next Zombie tune definitely deserves a play at any undead party. This one is Dead Mans Party by none other than Oingo Boingo, man I love the 80s

Another zombie dance tune for all you punk people out there. This song is by The Cramps and is called Zombie Dance.

This next one is by the punk rockers that most people have heard of The Misfits. This one is called Astro Zombies

There you guys go. Next time there is an apocalypse of zombie hordes, you will think oh yeah Purrly shared some zombie tunes that one time, you can play these tunes while kicking some zombie ass. These would also be good to play for yourself if you turn into a zombie. And yes I did leave a bunch out I had fifty of them but I think if I shared all of those with you guys you might just want to eat my brains
