A Few More of my Favourite OSTs

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! As the title suggests, today I’ll be sharing something really close to my heart — my favourite K-drama OSTs. OSTs are like emotional bookmarks in dramas. Just one note, one lyric, and suddenly I’m back in that moment — the characters, the storyline, the feelings — all come rushing back like a wave. So without further ado, here are a few OSTs that have stayed with me long after the screen went black.

I Love You Boy by Suzy was my very first Suzy song, and honestly, what a beautiful introduction to her voice. I Love You Boy is such a soft, girly love song — it’s sweet, emotional, and makes you want to fall in love just once, even if it’s only in your imagination. The dreamy vibe of this track, the tender lyrics, and Suzy’s gentle vocals make it feel like a fairytale. Honestly, the entire While You Were Sleeping OST collection is gold, so definitely check the others out too.

Suddenly by Kim Bo Young is another love song, but it’s filled with a deeper sense of longing and intensity. Kim Bo Young might be underrated, but her voice is powerful and soul-stirring. You don’t even need to know the lyrics — the way she sings Suddenly makes you feel every word. I haven’t watched City Hunter yet, but this song alone has earned it a solid spot on my watchlist.

Bom Bom Bom by Punch is spring in audio form. Bom literally means spring in Korean, and the song lives up to the name with its refreshing, candy-like charm. Punch’s voice is light yet impactful, and the whole track feels like a breezy spring day — warm, nostalgic, and full of hope. It’s the kind of song you listen to with the window open and your heart full.

Love is the Moment by Changmin falls next. Yes, it might be one of the most overplayed OSTs, but Love is the Moment holds a special place in my heart. The Heirs was one of my early dramas — sometime in 2020 — and this song was practically its anthem. The emotion in the melody, the drama in the lyrics, and the way it underscored Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang’s story made it unforgettable. Even today, one line from this song takes me back to those evenings when I was completely hooked.

Saving the softest for last. Be With You by Jeff Bernat is simply magical. The lyrics are simple, yet so warm and sincere. Jeff Bernat’s voice is like that of a fairytale prince — smooth, tender, and comforting. This song makes you believe in love again — not the dramatic, cinematic kind, but the quiet, healing love that just feels right. Fated to Love You is a beautiful drama, and this OST is its perfect companion. Honestly, I think it’s time for a rewatch.
