and today i'm bringing you

the   last part of my   three

part series: my opinion on

songs people dislike. i did a

lloott of   research   for this

once   again to find   songs

that people seem to dislike.

i actually had such a hard

time finding enough soloist

songs   that   i    decided   to

include   co-ed    groups   as

well, at least two of them.

before we get into it, a little

disclaimer:        these       are

merely my own opinions on

these songs, i'm not trying

to hate or shame anyone or

anything, i'm just speaking

my                                  mind.

⠀⠀more than saying it's a bad song, so many

⠀⠀people were talking about favouritism with this

⠀⠀one. i can somewhat see why people were

⠀⠀thinking that, combined with what many think

⠀⠀about jennie (with which i totally disagree with),

⠀⠀but i didn't really think about that much when

⠀⠀the song came out. i was so so obsessed with

⠀⠀it, in my opinion it's a great song, it has an

⠀⠀addicting beat and catchy lyrics, combined

⠀⠀with a memorable choreography... people call

⠀⠀it boring nowadays, but i really like the song,

⠀⠀even after all this time.

⠀⠀⁺ ◟ birthday . . . ꜜ

⠀⠀there was a lot of talk about this one, people

⠀⠀calling it annoying, simply bad, criticising

⠀⠀somi's voice and stage presence... personally,

⠀⠀i really didn't like it all that much when it first

⠀⠀came out but it kind of grew on me after a

⠀⠀while. but just as quickly as it grew on me, i got

⠀⠀sick of it. the verses are quite good i think, but

⠀⠀the drop to the chorus just doesn't fit that well

⠀⠀into the song... as for somi, i have to agree that

⠀⠀her stage presence back then was really not that

⠀⠀great, however she did improve quite a bit with

⠀⠀her latest comeback, so i'd just blame that on

⠀⠀her inexperience as a soloist. i don't hate the

⠀⠀song, but i wouldn't choose to listen to it much

⠀⠀either.

⠀⠀the amount of people i saw calling this song

⠀⠀'empty' was so shocking to me, because i

⠀⠀actually really like it. i can totally see how

⠀⠀people think it sounds like something is

⠀⠀missing, but to me the song isn't one that you

⠀⠀could just forget about. i love the whole

⠀⠀concept, the choreography, her vocals... i really

⠀⠀enjoy most of her releases and i was so

⠀⠀obsessed with it when it came out, even now i

⠀⠀can casually listen to it when it comes up on

⠀⠀my shuffle. i even like the bridge, which i feel

⠀⠀like threw off a few people while listening to

⠀⠀it...

⠀⠀i'm not entirely sure why people disliked the

⠀⠀song so much, but i saw someone mention

⠀⠀that they didn't like the whole concept, the

⠀⠀styling. people were probably also just not

⠀⠀too fond of the song and its style in general.

⠀⠀honestly, i agree with that. i never liked this

⠀⠀song all that much, i did listen to it for a while

⠀⠀but it never grew on me. i'm not sure why but it

⠀⠀sounds... off. i can't pinpoint my issue with it

⠀⠀but i just don't like it much and don't listen to it

⠀⠀much either.

⠀⠀to be honest, i completely forgot this even

⠀⠀happened... still, hearing people saying this

⠀⠀song really gets on their nerves isn't something

⠀⠀i can fully agree with. i get how the song may

⠀⠀sound annoying the more you listen to it, but

⠀⠀maybe because i haven't heard it in a while i'm

⠀⠀kind of into it? i'm sure i listened to this a

⠀⠀bunch when it came out, probably grew tired

⠀⠀of it and now i'm here listening to it again. i

⠀⠀feel like this is a good track to listen to

⠀⠀occasionally, when it comes up on your

⠀⠀shuffle, but if you hear it too often you'll get

⠀⠀sick of it. or at least i'm pretty sure i would.

⠀⠀⁺ ◟ roller coaster . . . ꜜ

⠀⠀i was so surprised to see this song on here,

⠀⠀but it seems that people don't really like it, or

⠀⠀don't like it anymore. people were saying it got

⠀⠀boring, too repetitive; and the whole concept

⠀⠀and aesthetic is just not their thing. personally,

⠀⠀i think 'rollercoaster' is one of chungha's weaker

⠀⠀title tracks. it was a good debut, although it

⠀⠀wasn't quite my taste and it still isn't, but it got

⠀⠀overshadowed a lot by her later releases. i

⠀⠀wouldn't choose to listen to this song but i

⠀⠀don't mind it too much, even if the chorus and

⠀⠀especially the melody did get a bit boring to

⠀⠀me with time.

⠀⠀⁺ ◟ how's this . . . ꜜ

⠀⠀this one, i saw getting heavily criticized by

⠀⠀many people. it was mostly about the

⠀⠀instrumentals being too much, the whole

⠀⠀song being annoying, her voice not helping it

⠀⠀much... i never realised people disliked this

⠀⠀track that much. for me, surely it's not my

⠀⠀favourite song hyuna ever released, but i

⠀⠀don't mind it at all. the synthesizer-sounds in

⠀⠀the back do get a bit annyoing to listen to

⠀⠀over time, but for a song that came out 4

⠀⠀years ago, i can still listen to it nowadays and

⠀⠀still get hyped. again, i don't totally love it, but

⠀⠀i really don't mind it in any way, since i barely

⠀⠀listen to these days.

⠀⠀i heard people mention multiple times that

⠀⠀they felt like this song is too much, that they

⠀⠀didn't like the whole electric-ish instrumental,

⠀⠀or even that the whole song was a big mess.

⠀⠀plus, people seemed to be criticising her live

⠀⠀performances a lot... i can completely see

⠀⠀how people could think this song was messy

⠀⠀and too much, i found it quite overwhelming

⠀⠀too when i first listened to it. but after hearing

⠀⠀it a couple times it grew on me, i didn't listen to

⠀⠀it all the time but occasionally i did enjoy it a

⠀⠀lot. it surely isn't a song for everyone, since it

⠀⠀is quite hype and loud, but i do still enjoy

⠀⠀listening and getting hyped to it sometimes.

⠀⠀as for the performances, i'd rather blame it on

⠀⠀her shoes and her inexperience as a solo artist,

⠀⠀similar to somi.

⠀⠀another songi was really suprised to see on

⠀⠀this list, since i saw so many people raving

⠀⠀about her comeback, but apparently some

⠀⠀people weren't too fond of it. it either

⠀⠀disappointed them and could never live up to

⠀⠀'twit', or they found the chorus very repetitive

⠀⠀and got sick of the song really quick. i, too,

⠀⠀was really excited for her comeback and

⠀⠀was blown away the first time i saw the

⠀⠀video, but like many others, i got tired of it so

⠀⠀quickly... i wanted to like it more, since i was

⠀⠀so obsessed with 'twit', but i just didn't vibe

⠀⠀with it.

⠀⠀i didn't intend on including psy in here, but

⠀⠀after i saw how much hate his songs received,

⠀⠀i just had to give him his own section. i noticed

⠀⠀a lot of people mentioning songs like

⠀⠀'gangnam style', 'daddy', 'hangover' or

⠀⠀'gentleman' as songs they disliked with a

⠀⠀ion. i usually think that a lot of people

⠀⠀who aren't that familiar with kpop, but heard

⠀⠀psy's tracks, are the ones that spread the hate

⠀⠀directly underneath the videos, which is why i

⠀⠀didn't intend to include him here just because

⠀⠀of the amount of dislikes his music videos got.

⠀⠀but i guess a lot of kpop stans also strongly

⠀⠀dislike his music, so i gave him his own

⠀⠀section on this list.

⠀⠀personally, i don't hate his songs, but i never

⠀⠀listen to them. back in 2012 when 'gangnam

⠀⠀style' came out, i didn't know about kpop, i

⠀⠀didn't even realize the song was in korean, i

⠀⠀thought it was an english song since my

⠀⠀english used to be really bad. there was huge

⠀⠀hype around it, and later around 'gentleman'

⠀⠀as well. i used to always hop onto those hype

⠀⠀trains so i did kind of enjoy those two songs

⠀⠀when i was younger. but song like 'daddy' or

⠀⠀'hangover' (later which i haven't heard until

⠀⠀just now) just didn't sit right with me. maybe

⠀⠀it's because i grew up or got into kpop

⠀⠀myself... but i just didn't listen to his music,

⠀⠀at all. i don't have anything against him

⠀⠀personally, but his music is just not my taste.

⠀⠀so, i'd say i don't really have an opinion on

⠀⠀these songs since i literally haven't listened to

⠀⠀them in years, and the one i did just listen to

⠀⠀now... i don't like it much either...

⠀⠀i think the main problem people have with

⠀⠀this song is that it sounds very generic and

⠀⠀kind of boring, plus the heavy autotune

⠀⠀throughout pretty much the whole song. i

⠀⠀have to agree with all of these things to be

⠀⠀honest, although they don't make me hate or

⠀⠀dislike the song. the autotune throws me off

⠀⠀every time, but in a way i think it suits the

⠀⠀song, so i can get over that.. rather than

⠀⠀saying it's straight up boring, i'd say it's more

⠀⠀of a calm and even song? it reminds me of

⠀⠀my past tropical vacations in a way, so i really

⠀⠀do like it, it just isn't my favourite title from

⠀⠀them, by far.

⠀⠀⁺ ◟ hola hola . . . ꜜ

⠀⠀i cannot believe the amount of times i saw

⠀⠀people say the dislike this song... for me, it's

⠀⠀probably one of their best releases. it might

⠀⠀sound generic at some points, like rumor did,

⠀⠀but just like that song it reminds me so much

⠀⠀of my vacations in indonesia since i listened

⠀⠀to it a lot while i was there. it also sounds super

⠀⠀tropical and free-ing in a way, i really enjoy the

⠀⠀summery and fun vibes it gives off, so i really

⠀⠀can't agree with anyone saying this song is bad.

⠀⠀⁺ ◟ dumb litty . . . ꜜ

⠀⠀another song that i can't believe is on here.

⠀⠀well, in a way i can understand people that say

⠀⠀this song is too much or too messy... but still,

⠀⠀this song, the beat, the whole aesthetic is so so

⠀⠀unbelievably good to me? it maybe irritates

⠀⠀some people when they listen to it for the first

⠀⠀time, but after you get used to it i think it's

⠀⠀good song to hype you up. i was literally left

⠀⠀with no words when i saw the music video,

⠀⠀after a few listens it immediately got stuck in

⠀⠀my head, and even now i can listen to it

⠀⠀without getting sick of it.

⠀⠀as for this song, people were seemingly

⠀⠀disappointed and thought this song couldn't

⠀⠀match up to '365 fresh' and the image triple h

⠀⠀had created with it. at first, i honestly didn't

⠀⠀quite feel it as well, but the more i listened to it

⠀⠀the more i enjoyed it. even now, i think it's a

⠀⠀great song and overall concept and any song i

⠀⠀can get from the three is a win for me. since i

⠀⠀absolutely love pentagon and hyuna is just

⠀⠀t h a t woman, i think i would've liked it either

⠀⠀way, at least after a couple of listens.

haven't    mentioned   in    my
