Overview:

Fading Yesteryear is a solo project from upper Michigan that incorporates progressive, doom, and death metal styles in it's sound.

Background:

-I started working on this project in mid 2019 with the goal of making emotional, dark, experimental, and heavy music. Fading Yesteryear is my first band/project and all the writing, playing, recording, mixing, and art/design was done solely by me.

-Fading Yesteryear's debut album "The Masquerade" is still in progress, however quite a few songs are done. Including the first ever song/single which is linked below. More music is on the way in the form of more singles, covers, and eventually the full album!

Exit the Masquerade is the first single and first song ever from Fading Yesteryear! It's the first full length song on the album "The Masquerade" as well, which is a loose concept album.

Once I have the full album out if the general reception to the music is good enough I hope to find and make Fading Yesteryear a full band to play live shows!
