Yes but not all whales are that closely related to dolphins
The baleen ones aren’t.
Orcas are toothed whales like Dolphins.
But most separate dolphins and whales as it’s a bit easier considering many species there are of each one.
Palafin is a dolphin.
I actually didn't know they were considered whales
Neither did I until some earlier comments
