Helpers

Hello, VA! Jess here with an announcement and slight update to our community!

You may have noticed that the mods have been changing in recent weeks, and you are correct! We have made some slight changes to things!

First, I'd like to announce our newest Curator Lauren! We hope you'll all help us in welcoming her into her new position! Congratulations, Lauren on your promotion!

Now, about our helpers! We currently have three helpers, Ian!

What is a helper? A helper is just like a curator, just without the same abilities they have. You may see them comment on a post explaining that you may have violated a rule or you may see them in your PMs explaining a broken rule. Not to worry, they're not mini-modding! That's their job, just like a curator.

Why do we have helpers? The leaders and curators can't always be online, so we have more eyes in the community to help us manage things! As a helper, they don't have the same requirement to be online as often as leaders and curators, however, they are technically mods in the community!

Furthermore, with the anniversary frame, we need as much help as we can get to manage our community and keep our activity up! We will keep the helpers even after the frame, though not to worry!

Can I become a helper? Yes, but like curator applications, you must apply when the applications open! Currently, we don't have any applications open, however, when we open the applications in the future, you can apply to be a helper!
