What To Do On This Amino?

First of all, thank you for ing this Amino! Whether you’re a veteran of Amino or brand new to the app, there are tons of things you can do in this Amino!

Before we get into the How, let’s talk about the Why. Why should you be active in this Amino? This Amino community was restored to be a place for Animation fans, AlphaJay fans and fans of multiple people within the cartoon community. Whether one or more of those apply to you, this community will be focused on people like you. We also reward those who post high-quality content by featuring their post on the front page, which is the page most s will land on! Those who post often, and contribute to the Amino will receive special roles that show their effort and ion!

BLOG

So maybe you have thoughts about my latest video? Or possibly you want to make a review written out? Maybe you have a cartoon theory? Possibly you want to make an appreciation post? Blogs are for you!

Blogs are a great way to stay active. Even if you think you don’t have much to say, try to make a post or two about maybe an episode you like or don’t like. Add photos and space out your paragraphs (wall of text can sometimes be a little tiring to read!) A great example of this is my Incredibles 2 Thoughts.

WIKI POST

So maybe you have a bit of time on your hand and you want to contribute to the AlphaJayShow Wiki. What belongs within the wiki?

• Anything related to my channel (Videos, Series, Channels I Collaborated With, Etc.)

• Anything related to my Amino (Events, Challenges, Notable Moments*, etc.)

• Most things related to animation (Shows, Characters, Episodes, Lore, Music, Cartoon-Related Games, etc.)

• Fan Pages* (A wiki page about you!)

Try making a page about yourself, or even about your favorite episode. Keep it factual!

*While I encourage everyone to make/customize their own page/moments in this Amino, not everyone will be curated into the official wiki. Only active fans will be featured in the Wiki. A great example of this is the Versus Wiki Page.

POLLS

Polls are an awesome way to keep things active! It’s easy to vote for a topic and if the question isn’t too specific, everyone can participate! The best polls also ask why, to keep the conversation flowing in the comments! Try to make a poll about something that many people could answer! Specific polls (like talking about an obscure show) are okay too, but bear in mind, some people may not know enough to answer! A great example of this is BCY’s SpongeBob Vs The Loud House Poll.

QUIZZES

Know a lot about a certain show? Want to test people’s knowledge on a character? Quizzes are up your alley! Amino rewards those who respond fast and accurately to quizzes and it is a great way to gain experience points! Try to make a quiz surrounding a popular show! A great quiz that is both fun and challenging is A.S.K. AIR’s Quiz On SpongeBob.

Maybe you have a great post relating to animation from another Amino. Or maybe you found a great article? Maybe you want to link a cartoon channel’s schedule? Links are for you! Although I highly recommend posting links if you have something informative or entertaining, try to keep it constructive. Try to make a link post revolving around another Amino post you made in another community. It’d be unfortunate and weird if you were known as the person always plugging their own stuff when no one knows you. Don’t be that person.

Have a funny meme? Maybe you made some Fanart? Want us to appreciate some well down artwork related to animation? Image posts are made for you! Image posts connect this Amino with a visual medium that tell a thousand words! Always make sure to credit the artist! Try to post artwork from your favorite cartoon! A great example is this

Want to see how many fans of a show there is? Want some advice on what to watch next? Maybe you want to see what is the Amino’s favorite episode of a certain series? Questions are a great way to do this! This is a great way to almost always get the conversation rolling. Try asking a broad question to see how many fans there are before getting into more specific questions. A great example of this, is this Incredibles 2 Question Post.

[PUBLIC CHATROOM & SCREENING ROOM]

Maybe you made a few friends on the Amino (highly recommended!), or maybe you enjoy talking about a specific show. I highly recommend you claim your corner of the chatroom tab and make your own chatroom. You will be responsible for keeping it active and inactive chat rooms will eventually be closed, so that new s do not enter a chat that isn’t necessarily being ran by its owner/engaged . (Keeping active chat rooms on top is a priority) Try opening a chat room about a topic you see talked about a lot on the Amino! In the event of two people making a room about the same topic, as long as both rooms are active, it’s okay. But I highly encourage you to make your room unique!

Well, this is a long post but I hope you learned about all of the things you can do within the Amino. This is only the broadest topics. There is also smaller things like participating in a contest, commenting on other posts and nominating posts you really enjoy to be featured. Feel free to try these out! Even if you may not get it right the first time, as long as you are willing to find your niche, everyone can have fun!
