Flashback Friday : : RUN BTS ep 103 🥘

hello army! It's taeguchi here today presenting

another edition of flashback Friday! Today's

flashback friday is the continuation to my

previous blog from ep 102. This is the

continuation part in ep 103 as you can see. So

without further ado,Let's get into the blog :sparkles:

what is RUN BTS & and where to watch them?

RUN BTS is a variety show where each episode is

based on one activity and the are given

tasks and are expected to complete them while

having fun with each other. You can watch the

episodes currently on BTS' YouTube channel,

BANGTANTV. The link to both the channel and

current episode I'm going to talk about will be below

RUN BTS EP 103 ⠀⠀|⠀⠀ BANGTANTV

Introduction to episode and assigned roles and teams 🥘

the episode is introduced as 'Avatar cooking' in which yoongi and jin who are excellent cooks were to be added in a group with the others ,they are tasked to give directions to their team while the others cook. The one who cooks and the one who relays the directions switches every 2 minutes. The MC for this episode is hoseok. jin,tae and jungkook were put in one group while yoongi,jimin and namjoon were put in the other

Jimin and namjoon's dishes were kimchi stew with pork and kimchi pancake. Taehyung and jungkook's dishes were stir fried spicy pork and rolled omelet. Unsurprisingly both teams' names were based on seokjin again :sob: . yoonminjoon teams were named team kim seokjin and taejinkook's were named team kim seok eegin which means "kim seok who won". The show officially started with jin's team going first and yoongi's team started right after jin's.

the episode finally starts with both jimin and namjoon washing their hands. While washing jimin comments on how he feels nervous while standing there. namjoon in returns asks him to imagine how scared namjoon himself would be as we all know how joon is with cooking :sob: . Yoongi then instrusts them to wear plastic gloves prepared at the counter and jimin questions on why they even bothered washing their hands. Just like taekook, minjoon struggled on trying to wear the apron

Jimin offers to tie the apron back as it's :sparkles: teamwork :sparkles: He asks hobi if their teamwork is beautiful to which hobi agrees. Jimin then continues to cutely say 'mini moni mo' (I CAN'T IT WAS SO CUTE) after him and joonie's names. As they officially start, yoongi instructs namjoon to asks jimin to wash his hands again to which jimin does again. At the other room, jungkook asks taehyung if he's ready to climb the Achasan mountain which is their penalty if they lost :sob:

Yoongi gives the first order, asking them to peel an onion and wash it. Namjoon easily conveys the message to jimin while the other does as told, namjoon then does a kicking motion and yoongi told him to do no such things and says that his safety should be the first, second and third priority :sob: (god of destruction things >>>) yoongi then instructs to wash a handful of garlic and cut off the bottom. Hobi says namjoon looks humble while conveying the message to jimin as he's standing still as yoongi said like a little child

Yoongi instructs them to cut the spring onion into halves when they were told to change roles by hobi. Yoongi instrusts to stop cutting and wash the garlic instead as namjoon takes the role. Jimin then encourages him by saying he's doing well like the ive angel he is :angel: . Next jimin was told to pour 1L of water into the pot, he conveys the message to namjoon and namjoon says not to ask him to do two things at once but jimin then tells him to bring the meat as namjoon complains again :sob: . Jimin then asks him if he knows if it's actually pork belly to which namjoon starts inspecting the meat saying he needs to check the belly but he still wasn't sure so jimin asks him to bring the pot instead. Namjoon ended up confusing jimin and jimin looked like his brain logged off for a second :sob:

They change yet again, they were told to put the garlic in the mortar and jimin told namjoon to do it until namjoon counters back by saying jimin is supposed to do it. Namjoon then adorably proceeds to repeat the exact instruction given to jimin by yoongi. Next they were told to slice the onions. The roles change again, namjoon cuts the spring onions thicker and jimin asks him to cut them thinner. Jimin then says namjoon is doing well and asks him to tell him that his handsome to which namjoon does 🥺. Jimin tries to correct the way namjoon was cutting but was asked to step back by hobi and stay still as it's joon's turn. Yoongi tells them to open the meat and cut the kimchi next. Jimin then orders namjoon to be nice to him and jungkook says he's giving weird random orders :sob:

They change roles again and namjoon very emotionally tells jimin to pour water into the bowl as instructed, hobi then tells namjoon to not raise his voice and work the teamwork skills and namjoon asks jimin to boil water in the softest tone ever. Yoongi then instructs to see if there's chicken stock in the pantry , namjoon ends up hearing 'sheepdog' instead of 'chicken Stock', yoongi tries again and namjoon asks if he meant 'concept talk' :sob: . Once namjoon actually got it right and both jimin and namjoon questioned about what chicken stock is to which jin laughs about how they don't know it. yoongi tells them to make korean pancake first. Yoongi tells joon to get the kimchi but he again mistakes it as chicken :chicken:

The roles change again, namjoon was asked to check if the water is boiling while he was cutting the kimchi, he does it so cutely and the laugh 🥺. Namjoon then accidentally turns the stove off instead of turning it to high heat. Hobi goes to check while the roles were exchanged again. Yoongi asks to put kimchi seasoning in another bowl but namjoon had trouble conveying the message again. change again,namjoon was told to get the small spoon but he accidentally ends up taking a big spoon instead and jimin asks if he knows what it means and jinkook laugh at the other side at jimin's tone :sob: .while getting another spoon, namjoon knocks over the entire utensil holder and taejinkook are having an entire blast as hobi comments that it's a mess in the kitchen and he dissapointedly says that he thought this team would be better than the last in of hygiene :joy:

Yoongi asks to season the batter but namjoon struggles to convey it as he keeps mixing up batter and season. Roles change again, namjoon was told to add the ginger into the kimchi stew pot but he accidentally adds it into the pancake bowl instead. Everyone cracks up again at joon's mistake :sob: . Yoongi tells him to raise his hands up and step back as yoongi takes his first chance, yoongi gets to cook for 2 minutes and he runs into the kitchen trying to save their team :joy: a frustrated chef Min then starts to elegantly slice the onions flexing his skills :sparkles: . Yoongi then checks if it was sugar or salt in the smaller bowl to which he finds it's salt, jimin tries it and says they've been adding salt the whole time instead of sugar :sob: . Yoongi tells them to add big spoons of sugar again in attempts of trying to save it. While washing the spoon, jimin aggressively shakes the spoon off of water which ended up falling on hobi. Hobi was upset that his Fila shirt was wet, true promoter indeed :sparkles:

Jimin tries out the stew and says it's too salty, yoongi frustratedly tells them again he asked to add sugar not salt, someone save his soul from minjoon :sob: . Yoongi looked like he might burst soon as he instructed them to add water. Namjoon tries the stew and looks questionable with the taste. Jimin tries the stew again and he says it's still salty, yoongi again complains about how he asks them to add sugar not salt :sob: . MC Hobi tries the stew this time and he does not look impressed, joon and yoongi complain back and forth and playfully argue about the salt matter. Kim seok eegin team looked convinced that they were going to win this round judging by the chaos happening in the kitchen with the other team.

Namjoon was asked to check if the pancake was cooked to which he looks closely trying to see through, the other team started laughing as it looked like joon was scanning the pancake :sob: . Yoongi tries to get another chance but it says try again, poor lil meow meow. Namjoon says the pancake doesn't look too good and yoongi replied that jimin added too much batter, namjoon conveys it to jimin by complaining but both of them dramatically reconcile by hugging 🥺. Jimin tries the stew again but he starts laughing after tasting it which wasn't very reassuring. Jin asks hobi how it tasted and he said it was a bit too sweet for him, yoongi looked tired and done :sob: . Namjoon flops the pancake down onto the plate and jin says he thought they would lose but he's more sure they'd win now :smirk_cat:

they find a squirrel bowl to pour the stew in, hobi jokes about how the squirrel is taking a bath in the stew and yoongi says it's coming back from hell :joy: . Jimin puts another bowl over the squirrel and hobi says it looks like a sauna now. Jimin puts a bundle of spring onion under the pancake for plating because there's no other option (HELP :sob: ) hobi then checks up on the hygiene status like the ever so cleanliness King he is :sparkles:

Yoongi now comes in while complaining to jimin about not checking the salt if it was actually sugar and he playfully threatens jimin with a spoon (thankfully not with chopsticks 🥢) yoongi was frustrated and he says how it was frustrating to be sitting in another room as they are creating chaos in the kitchen and jimin hugs him in return (My yoonmin heart :heart_eyes: ). Jimin makes up random excuses on why the spring onion is under the pancake because it defines the forest :sob: . Hobi tries the pancake and doesn't look impressed again. Yoongi then says if Gordon Ramsay was there, he would've slapped them in the face :joy: and jimin replied back with saying how they don't cook for a living. Hobi gets the bowl off of the squirrel bowl and says how it's sweating now :sob: The other team come in to try the dish too and jin says the stew was salty as he tasted it

now it's time to calculate the points and announce the winner team. Kim seok eegin team won 32.2 points and kim seokjin team won 29.5 points making Kim Seok eegin team win the last round :confetti_ball: taejinkok ended up hugging each other as the three celebrate their win. Everyone praises hobi for MC-ing well and the episode wraps up with tae saying "RUN BTS !"
