okay well… hi. hello. it’s been quite a while since the last time i wrote a proper blog (so there’s a good chance this one ends up being shit). i’ve set a goal for myself to participate in every cotm this year and not falling too behind on the months is basically the only thing keeping my motivation for blogging tbh.

but anyways,,, flowers. wasn’t too sure what to write about them cause all the ideas i was coming up with required me talking about songs and i simply don’t have the capacity right now to act as if i know what i’m talking about when i’m trying to explain one. so here’s this kinda dumb idea. it’s basically me talking about some idols to who i would like to give a bouquet of flowers for various reason. mostly dumb reasons perhaps. but nevertheless, i hope you enjoy

O1. CHAN – stray kids ⊹ . . .

starting with chan because the dude seriously deserves something cute and sweet as a little reward in life. he’s always giving out so much love – making it rain with love as if he’s a billionaire that’s in possession of too many dollar bills but the bills this time are tiny hearts – and dammit he deserves a lot of that love back. i mean, he just seems like a genuinely caring guy. he managed to create such a safe space for his and stays and so many people seem to really find a lot of comfort in his words. chan’s room being the prime example of it. i feel like he often does so much for others that he sometimes forgets to think about himself as well. like when he got c*vid this man was seriously worrying over not being able to do chan’s room instead of worrying about his own ass and resting. and i just think that a nice bouquet of colorful flowers followed by some sweet words to thank him for the hard work and everything would make him really happy.

i’m also gonna slip one of the flowers for minho as well because, what can i say, always gonna be a minho lover.

O2. MARK – nct ⊹ . . .

there is one reason and one reason only why i would like to give some flowers to mark. and it’s the fact that i’m 99% sure he’d be very awkward over it. okay, so picture the situation: you walk up to him, everything’s cool, you’re cool, it’s a lovely day, birds are chirping, the sun is shining, it’s basically like a fairy tale – and then you hand him over the flowers. no words needed to be said, except “these are for you”. don’t give him any sort of reason. or a hint as to what is happening. just the flowers. maybe a little smile as well. and then he gets kinda awkward, kinda shy. doesn’t really know how to respond and in the end just says a very awkward “dude”. a silence a bit too long. before he adds “thanks”. and that is the end of my oneshot of giving mark flowers for no reason whatsoever except for the hope of him not knowing how to act as a human for a few seconds. hopefully they make him happy too tho. we always love to see a happy mark in this household.

O3. WHEEIN – mamamoo ⊹ . . .

do i have an oddly specific reason for giving flowers to wheein too? no. well… maybe. in short i would say i’m a very simple girl that loves wheein lots as well as her cute smile. and if giving her flowers means it would make her smile then that’s good enough of a reason to me. even better if she laughs about it too cause, ugh, the way my heart explodes every time she throws her head back and releases the most contagious laugh ever. best content honestly. 10/10. there’s not really much else to say. for some reason everything about her just kind of reminds me of flowers. her aura, her looks, her personality. even her music. all of it has this special sweetness to it. all of it is filled with brightness and such a large palette of different colors that paint her the way she is. and who she is has made me happy so many times with her cute antics and energetic bright personality that i always want the same for her and i think some flowers would definitely serve that purpose.

O4. MINO – winner ⊹ . . .

i don’t usually give much meaning to flowers. even though each of them have their own special meaning, for me the only thing that actually matters is whether it pretti or it ugli. but mino singlehandedly managed to change that and for the first time ever because of him two different flowers symbolise something for me – the blue rose and sunflower. both flowers i very strongly connect to him and winner. i also kinda started paying more attention to them because of that which resulted with me slowly giving them some of my own meanings beyond the group too. sunflowers especially becoming like a symbol of warmth and happiness. with so many different people, songs, places and even moments i connect with them. sunflower is also the flower between the two that i would connect to mino more than the blue rose. the blue rose is pretty much a winner flower at this point. but because of that influence and because of the love mino himself has for sunflowers, i would like to give him the biggest brightest and prettiest bouquet of sunflowers ever.

O5. SOYEON – (g)i-dle ⊹ . . .

my reason for wanting to give soyeon some flowers is kinda similar to chan’s i guess?? i simply just think that she deserves it and that’s really all there’s to it. something sweet to bright up her day and make her smile. i’ve been loving this girl ever since she dropped “jelly”. 24/7. with heart eyes every time i see her. yet it feels like ever since debut a lot of people just liked to use her as a punching bag. during the last comeback it especially felt as if some people took every single tiny crumb they could use for dragging her. i could be wrong but it sometimes just kinda seems as if people created a sort of wrong picture of her. under that piercing look and charisma there’s actually a really bright and sweet girl who cares about her a lot and always wants the best for them. and i just think she deserves a bouquet every week to remind her how loved she is. or maybe even every day.
