backstory

a regular guard dog in itds previous life.One day its lost its owner tracks in the woods and ended up alone in dangerous places.Eventually a wizard finds it but it was too late,Serp was too weak to be saved.The wizard took it to his house wheree he performed a reviving ritual on Serp,,resurrecting him into the snake-dog hybrid it is now.Its sense of smell got twice better,and is now protecting its new owner.
