As a Hearth Witch, I love starting the day with intention and food is no exception. These overnight oats are more than just a healthy breakfast, they are a spell in a jar to nourish both body and spirit.
Recipe (per jar):
1/2 Banana
1/4 Cup Oats
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
1/3 Cup Frozen Blueberries
1 Tbsp Walnuts
*Optional* Dash of cinnamon for added warmth and living energy.
Preparation Tip:
Mash the banana and place it at the bottom of the jar as the first layer. This will prevent the banana from browning.
Mix the oats, milk and peanut butter together and layer on top of the banana.
Top with the blueberries, walnut and optional cinnamon.
Let them rest overnight to infuse with intention. When morning comes, take a quiet moment to stir and speak:
“With this stir, I awaken joy.
With this blend, I welcome love.
With each bite, I choose a bright, kind day.”
Eat mindfully, and carry the warmth of your hearth magick with you.
Blessed be!
The recipe is very versatile. You can sweeten with honey or sugar if you prefer. I find the banana and berries give it enough sweetness but that is my preference.
Nuts can be removed and replaced as well!
Sometimes I even leave the berries out and do a banana nut mix or you can try dried apples and cinnamon which is tasty in fall.
Milk can also be changed for soy, or non dairy alternatives. It works with water as well but will be less creamy.

In other News
It's been a long while since I posted! Slowly coming back to my practice and will be (hopefully) posting regular again.
I do a lot of hearth and kitchen craft these days. So the majority of my posts will be recipes and Magick in the mundane.
I have also officially started my year and a day! I've been putting off on it for years but finally hunkered down and committed. I'm about a month in so far.
Glad to be back!
*Sorry for the wretched line spacing on this blog I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. Gotta love Amino :joy: *
